About This Game
The Skin Stapler is a narrative-driven horror experience set in a decaying 1980s city drowning in crime, drugs, and moral collapse. Inspired by VHS slashers, grindhouse cinema, and noir crime dramas, the game blends unsettling horror with dark, B-movie humor to deliver a short but unforgettable descent into madness.
You play primarily as Detective Dick Slater, a burned-out veteran cop tasked with tracking a serial killer stalking the city’s streets. Known only as The Skin Stapler. You'll also get to play as a full cast of characters as they are stalked by The Skin Stapler.
The Skin Stapler primarily targets young women in their homes and workplaces, skins them, and staples their flesh to nearby walls, leaving behind grotesque displays and distorted audio tapes that taunt the police and hint at something deeper beneath the city.

The Skin Stapler is designed to be completed in one sitting and prioritizes atmosphere, story, and tension over combat or traditional survival mechanics.

This has been the most ENJOYABLE game I've ever played in such a long time! I don't want to spoil anything, but I can't wait for possibly a continuation of this world you created & I loved the Batman & Robin dynamic; I can see why you added the JANK DLC <3 This made my top 5 Indie Horror Games List!

Nah this game was straight up disappointing ,My gameplay was completely different from what I saw online and I spawned as a corny character who thinks he’s tough, then got stuck playing as some tattoo and car obsessed goober just trying to run a shift. Meanwhile people like CaseOh get to play as a whole baddie and have a super cool run? The character movement felt off and getting stuck ruined the whole vibe
